Things to Do
Palo Alto
There are lots of fun things to do in Palo Alto. Unless otherwise noted, everything is within a 1-mile walk of the hotel. Here are a few of our favorites:

Catch a Flick
The Stanford Theater is a fabulously restored theater that shows old black and white movies. $6 gets you a double feature (be sure to sit in the balcony) and on weekends they play the Mighty Wurlitzer organ between shows. Popcorn is cheap and tastes like real butter! No trip to Palo Alto is complete without a movie at the Stanford!!! University between Ramona and Emerson
The Aquarius is a local art movie house. They've been known to show the Rocky Horror Picture Show on Fridays at Midnight. Emerson between University and Lytton.
Play Pool
Shoot stick at Q Café (Alma between University and Hamilton) and Blue Chalk Café (Ramona between Hamilton and Forrest). Q Café turns into a dance club at night.
Go Dancing
Q Café is a hip-hop club, and Fannie and Alexander's (Ramona between University and Lytton) offers live music. Be forewarned! these places are frequented by the Stanford crowd, and get a little 'college-y' on the weekends.

Museums
The Cantor Center for Visual Arts offers world-class exhibits about a 1-mile walk from the Sheraton. Don't miss the Rodin sculpture garden. Admission is free. Take Palm Drive into Stanford. Turn Right on Museum Way. You will dead end into the museum.
